CHARACTERISTICS : Resembles P. aurea but with regularly shaped slightly bluish culms. With many culms, this is one of the densest Phyllostachys.

Maintenance : Needs space in order to develop well. Likes pruning. For pots, provide a healthy and well-drained soil and fertilize twice a year.
