CHARACTERISTICS : Upright, slightly bending. Tiny and supple culms: light green in the shade, yellowing in the sun. Loose, light and supple foliage.

Propagation : Rhizome cutting or clump division.
Needs : Hardy bamboo, can also grow in difficult conditions (good resistance to cold, drought and to chalky soil).
Uses : (un)pruned hedge, border. Suitable for pots or jardinières.
Maintenance : Adapts well to dry soils, even slightly salty. For pots, provide a healthy and well-drained soil and fertilize twice a year.
