Propagation : Rhizome cutting or clump division.
Needs : Due to these air canals, it tolerates heavy soils that have a tendency to become waterlogged.
Uses : Hedge, windbreak, clump, solitary tuft. Recommended for phytoevaporation.
Maintenance : Every two years in Winter, thin out the dry culms aged five and more years.
