CHARACTERISTICS : Caespitose. Small leaves set apart from the culm, resembles ferns, which is why it is sometimes called ‘Fernleaf’.

Propagation : Rhizome cutting or clump division.
Needs : Because of its low resistance to frost, plant either in protected spot or a mild climate.
Uses : Solitary clump. Suitable for pots or jardinières. Ideal for veranda or well-lit interior.
Maintenance : Can be pruned to any shape. If left untrimmed, the oldest culms droop downwards. For pots, provide a healthy and well-drained soil and fertilize twice a year.
