Origin :China - Himalaya (1200 to 2800 m Sichuan)
CHARACTERISTICS : Caespitose. Medium long and narrow leaves ranging from 8 to 20 cm with a width of 0,5 to 2 cm. The first year’s culms stay straight upright becoming gracefully arched with the weight of the leaves the second year’s foliage.

Propagation : clump division.
Needs : Very hardy. One of the rare Fargesia cultivated in Europe that tolerates full sun very well.
Uses : Solitary, hedge, clump. Suitable for pots and jardinières.
Maintenance : Require an area of around 2m2 to allow it the space to fully develop its potential. For pots, provide a healthy and well-drained soil and fertilize twice a year.
